TC Hill 1967 - 1968
These are some from TC Hill while I was there. I have more however I used a half frame camera, while in the service. It gave me twice the pictures for the money. Now, however, it seems photo processors either do not work on half frame or the cost is rather high. Lessons learned. I am still working on the others.

3 Sided Shops
There were 4 of these large 3 sided shops in the motor pool at the north end of TC Hill. A mechanic who worked in one of these buildings said that the problem with them was that they made good targets while lit up at night. He said that the lights were shot out by those within rather than without |

572TC Motor Pool
In 1968 most of the 572TC went up north. A few of us, the tracked vehicle detail and a few others, were left behind. We were moved to a small area and built our own little shack. |

TC Hill Swimming Pool
This was wonderful but we did not get to use it much.

TC Hill Water Tower
This is out behind the mess hall on the North hill of TC Hill and it is looking towards the South hill. If the tower was not there you would see the back of the south hill in the area of the dispensary. I often wish I had climbed this tower, in 1968, and taken a picture every few feet around it to have a panorama of TC Hill and a good protion of Long Binh. |

This is Ho Chi Hue who worked at our PX. She told me she was no relation to Ho Chi Minh.
