Tomb of Tu Duc
This is one of the most beautiful sites that we have seen in Vietnam. Much of
it was either overgrown or closed off just two years ago. Like Vitenam, in
general, it is so green.

In the building to the left is a place where people can dress as the Emperor or
Emperess and get photos taken.

In the compound of Tu Duc's Tomb. All this green and then that white tree, over
the wall looking like crystal.

There is a mural carved on the stone but it is so overgrown that I can not make
it out.

Just beyond the wall a group of people are shoveling and moving dirt and
setting out markers.

This building housed the Royal Concubines.

One gate opens to an area and beyond there is another wall and another gate.

This building was built as a place to get shade, a gentle breeze and be able to
reflect and write poetry. It is a simple yet beautiful building.
