The Imperial City So much of the Imperial City and the Forbidden Purple City are gone, however work is being done to restore the buildings that are left and we hear that the missing buildings may be reconstructed.

At the front of the right third of the Forbiden Purple City is a gate to admit those who had business with the Emperor's Mother or Grandmother.

Inside the gate above is this Temple.

The Noon Gate Notice the wooden A frames that are proping up the roof. Two years ago they were not there.
